[OOC] A Planet To Tame

It is 3654 BBY. The Galactic Republic sent you on a mission to tame a wild planet, expand it's territories and hopefully find a new settlement. You have been chosen for this mission because you have shown unique talents and skills to operate with troops and citizens. We are proud to have you, general. Now, onto the task at hand. You will be given a regiment of 300 marines and 250 citizens, supplies and medicine are stocked on your ships that are waiting at the harbor bay. You will depart and head towards Planet - X3531, a fertile one that has similar flora and fauna to ours, which will prove useful for you settlers! We have also received word that the Sith Empire has eyes on that Planet as well, be cautious at all times. Those fanatics think they found some relic that will be incredibly useful for their cause... Imbeciles. Good luck, general.

It is 3654 BBY. The Sith Empire wants you, general. To go on a planet not far from our glorious empire. The planet's name is X3531, you may have heard about it in the higher echelons. We believe it houses a relic of great importance to our order, long forgotten by us and by the Galactic Republic. That will be your priority, however the great empire needs another planet, we want you to take 300 troopers and 250 Sith citizens to that fertile place and colonize it. The lush green planes are not like the barren wastelands here, general. So be cautious. Our spies have told us that the Galactic Empire has eyes on the planet and has sent troops there to do the same. Stop them. Long live the Sith Empire.

You will be taking on a role of a general of The Galactic Empire (0/5) or a dark general of the Sith Empire (0/2). You can chose what race you want to be and what to focus on. For instance, one colony wants to be a merchant colony and the other an industrial one. It all depends on you. So far the IC transmissions explain the general gist. I will release an IC thread once I have covered a tech tree and the available paths you can take. I'll also make an interactive map that you'll see your colonies. May the Force be with you!

Alignment: Sith Empire

Brief Description of your colony: General Solaris seeks to establish a powerful military presence upon the planet so that he can conquer without a fear for any kind of resistance. Thus, the colony, which he dubbed Solaris, egotastically after his own last name, is to become a well-oiled machine of war. Training drills are commonplace, discipline is paramount and failure is discouraged.

General's Name: Vinto Drald

Race: Rodian

Alignment: The Galactic Republic

Brief Description of your colony: To secure a strong presence in the early stages of settling the planet, the Senate sent General Vinto Drald, known for his tactical efficiency for ground engagements. The General established the "FOD" AKA The Forward Operations Depot, which serves as the Republic military presence on Planet - X3531. All inhabitants, even the settlers, have been drilled with basic combat training, for obvious reasons. The General positioned the colony by a rather large lake in the north, providing a certain income of fish supplies for the inhabitants should the rations run out or go missing.
